Nestled on Lake Michigan's eastern shoreline, Spring Lake offers some of the most brutal storms in Michigan. A last minute decision to stroll down to a bayou bridge caught us in a wicked thunderstorm. We were ill-prepared, but decided to buckle down and wait it out under the bridge.
Waiting it out lost its fun when a flash fload was brewing on either side of us. Luckily, I brought my camera along and these shots depict some of the storm's various offerings on our walk to shelter.
Shot with natural lighting on a Nikon D70.
